i've been looking at these notebooks and they have EVERYTHING i want in a laptop except one thing...gpus. is there any word on if and when they will get graphics cards? i know they're business laptops so it seems unlikely to me![]()

The only official word out of Dell is that the D630 and the D830 will be configurable with the nVidia Quadro 135M (D630 and D830) or the 140M (D830). When these options will actually be available is anyone's guess. The drawback is of course they consume a lot more power than the integrated Intel chip, so that might be a consideration. Given that these are business laptops, I doubt you'll see something like a GeForce on the Latitudes.

My advice is to wait until the end of May to order and I'm betting the discrete graphics cards will be an option. -
I just had a chat with a Dell representative, he said it can take up to 2 months before we'll see the Nvidia Quadro's in de D830

Same here in Australia.
I called a Dell rep about 1 hour ago, and it seems that any other configuaration than what is currently displayed will be another month or 2 -
Just be thankful you can get them at all - they're no where to be found in Canada and I couldn't even get an ETA.
