So I just reformatted my E1505 to get rid of the bloatware. Problem is that now after I've reinstalled all the drivers there are 2 problems

    1) computer doesn't go to sleep
    2) when i click on start-> turnoff .... it doesn't give me the hibernate mode

Can someone tell me where these functions are enabled? All the other drivers works.

    Thanks

First update XP - this isn't a driver problem.

As for the hibernation icon, apparently it is a problem with XP SP 2. I don't know why or how, but for some reason the hibernation icon is missing. It was there before most users reformatted, but after they reformatted it was missing. Supposedly MS is releasing a hot fix for it, but I don't know when.

We have a thread about the hibernation issue in the software forum. I can't remember the title of it, but if you do a search for hibernation icon, you should come across something.
