    dell e1505/6400 freezes

    When I pull the plug from the outlet while the laptop is on it causes the screen to go black and the system freezes. Any idea how to fix it?

    Core duo 1.83 ghz
    OS: win xp home

    edit: It only happens when I pull the plug from the wall. When I pull it from the laptop, the screen does flash black for one second but returns right after
