Hi there guys im running a dell e1505 ive had since august 2006. intel core duo 1.86 ghz, geforce go 7300, 1 gig ram, 80 gig hd, and when playing games such as halflife2 or counterstrike source i get laggy framrates where i would get skips in the screen. Like when someone is shooting me I start firing and it freezes and little bit then i die. THe same sort of laggyness occurs when i play old games such as starsiege tribes. I know this video card is more than capable of handling these games and i do have the updated driver from dell and I am out of ideas. Im thinking that maybe the dell e1505 lcds have slow response times but i was wondering if i could get some feedback. thanks

Sounds like the sound card is lagging your system down to me.
