    hi everybody,
i am having certain queries about dell laptop.
my brother is using one.he has configured it as follows
    core 2 duo 1.6 ghz
    120 gb harddisk
    1 gig ram
    dvd writer
    vista basic( screwed by dell)
    bluetooth and wi fi

    he has following issues.
his bluetooth devise indicator shows led on but everytime on reboot we get error that device is not installed correctly and it wont work due to wrong driver installed.
so bluetooth is not working for him.

on other option we would like to upgrade his vista home to vista business.
i think we will require clean install of vista business.
may i get some help with this task?

i use vaio fz 140 .i have followed gary's excellent tutorial for clean install of vista.
is their something similar for dell?

    kindly help me.
    thank you in advance.

    The 1530 isn't out yet.
That might be why no one is answering you.
If you want to install Vista Business, check one of the many tutorials, such as this one
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=157838

The differences between installing Vista on any of Dell's newer laptops are slight. You just use different drivers, according to which laptop you have.
You can follow links from here

Or if you have a 1520,

Be sure you read about setting up the SATA drivers and Media Direct before you start the install.
