    dell inspiron 6400 or e1505 -ati x1300 video adapter

    i just bought a inspiron 6400, quess its the same as the e1505....bought it with a x1300 ati video adapter. .how will this do in games...???

    also, will it come with a windows xp cdrom, or do i have to get it from dell...?? and what about dvd software to watch dvd,s.:confused:

    thanks , i had allready found the link,,its a great page..i was just trying to get someone that had hands on with the x1300 and get their opinion...great site here i must say...later ron:D

    got e1505 with x1300 and Gig of RAM. HL2 runs with no problem at all. haven't tried things like doom3 though. Just clean up the startup to get rid of trash, etc and it might help a bit.

    Does it come with CD? Depends on what you chose when buying it, assuming directly from Dell. Mine didn't - I believe it's on a separate partition on the HD. DVD software - yes, there's some program that let's you watch DVDs, but nothing special (can't tell you which on right now - away from my laptop).
