    dell inspiron e1505 reformat trouble

    i have a reformat cd and i put it in, then i turn off my laptop. I turn it back on and press f12 for the boot menu. When it come up i see Internal, cd/dvd/cd-rw drive, outbound NIC, bios setup, and diagnostics. I go to cd/dvd/cd-rw drive and press enter. but it just loads my computer like any other time. when it should be loading a reformat. i need help plz

    Well the first thing is too check the disk and make sure its ok.If its fine then try going into your BIOS setup and set your first boot device to Optical Drive (CD/DVD drive) and see if that works.
