    dell inspiron laptop keyboard problems

    Somebody help me, please!! I have a dell inspiron laptop and the keyboard is messed up. This is what happens when I press certain buttons.

    when I press p I get op
    when I press l I get l;
    when I press ; I get l;
    when I press 0 I get 90
    when I press . I get .\

    Any suggestions?

    Maybe its time to call Dell and get a new keyboard.

    Sounds like the pressure sensor below the keyboard is messed up. As stated you might want to call Dell and order a new one.

    I would call dell like suggested, I had problems with the keys coming off and when I replaced them every once in awhile the D button either wouldn't respond or would excute several times in a row. Called dell and they're replacing it.
