Have you made sure the bluetooth has not been turned off by the wireless switch ? also check bios settings to make sure its enabled.

does it appear in your device manager at all ie as unknown device or something ?

so it was working ok until you updated the driver is that correct ?

if that is the case for now you could try using system restore and restore your computer back to when the bluetooth was working .

otherwise check your device manager and see if the driver is loaded or if it is unknown.

What does Device Manager look like for the BT and Network controller?

Is it an exclamation mark? Is it unknown?
