    my laptop an inspiron 15r beeps 5times on startup!!!!!!what exactly does it mean?????

    As mentioned by sparkyman2000, the 5 beep codes indicate that the CMOS battery (Coin Cell battery) has failed.

    Please let us know if the system is still covered under warranty?

    In case you wish to replace the CMOS battery on your own; please find the link mentioned below. The link below has a copy of the Inspiron N5110 Service Manual for your reference. You can also use the link to replace the coin cell battery.
