okay, so i reformatted my computer and unfortunately the disk for drivers and everything that came with my laptop is apparently not the correct cd according to dell's website.

i've got most everything figured out except for the audio driver won't install and my mousepad isn't the same as it used to be. there should be a mousepad option under the "mouse" icon so that i may disable this horrible tap feature, but it is not there anymore...

anyone have any ideas as to what i can do?

    THANKS!

For the touchpad, you'll need to download and install the Synaptics driver. That should give you the proper options in the Control Panel. As for the Audio driver... wouldn't know. Give me more details: OS you're using, driver you're using, etc.
