the csr said they used the xk309 lfpl300 in my new system.... oh man ill be soooo happy when it gets here if there is nothing else wrong otherwise... i mean major stuff.. and wowowowow the replacement was ordered last thurs spt 13th and was shipped today!!!! okay if the dell rep was right they may have redeemed themselves.. i cant check the invoice to see for sure since the page is down it says... im anxiously waiting for the page to come back up...

AWESOME! i hope you are set with this one. good luck. dell should have never skimped on the displays. that was a terrible move. hopefully they realize that when someone calls in with a screen problem, they need to, uh, fix it.
dell called me wednesday. i missed the call. i'll just pretend they called to tell me the same thing... aaahh. -

Congrats man. They put an lfpl300 in mine too and it's a lot brighter with no grainy crap spread all over the screen. I'm actually liking my replacement notebook. Hope for the same with you.
