I am in the process of wanting to order a dell mini 12.

My first question is...is it worth it?

Will the atom processor give me the usability or will it just be like using an old p3 with ubuntu installed?

Also, will this dell version give me the full ubuntu experience or is it a chopped up version. Do i still have access to all the package management resources and repos?

    Thanks

    Ryan

    Hey there,

    See this thread:

    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=304433

There is a post I think, 2nd to last from a forum member who just purchased the I12. You can get a feel of his feedback, and also posts from other forum members regarding the I12.

It's not a bad Netbook...it has it positives, and negatives.

Is is worth it, that's up to you. And, I do believe you are getting the full version of Ubuntu...if that is how you are ordering. :D

    Cin ;) :)
