    Hi guys,

as some of u know, im selling these oem seagate 2.5" hds that were purchased from dell. does anyone know how another person would utilize the warranty in the event it fails? i tried calling dell support and we pretty much ran in circles until he finally said that they would cover it. but how? i was under the impression from the conversation that id need to have a purchase id or an order number, but these 40 hard drives are only on 2 orders of 20 each. Can dell provide warranty to a hard drive with the serial number, etc?. They also mentioned calling the manufacturer, but after looking the number up on seagate, it specifies going to the vendor.

so has anyone had xperience with this? any help is appreciated!
