Yeh, I'm ordering a M1210 also, but on enquiring about the Vista Upgrade elligibility, I was told that outlet systems didn't qualify?

I talked a dell rep from the vista upgrade department, and he said I qualified, and to register at the dell vista upgrade page when I recieve my machine. It is a new computer from dell, and the warranties start when you get the system, it wouldnt be the first time a rep has been wrong, but on the other hand, I've found that by being persistent yet polite, dell can be very accomodating, he said it would work, and I'm going to register it for the program and go from there, I'll keep you guys updated if I run into any snags

I'm confused! First in your title, you said outlet. Then in the previous post, you said new. Is outlet sytems = new systems? Did I miss something here?

outlet systems are considerd new purchases, and have full warranty and such, they dont fall into the previously leased/owned catagory or whatnot
