I have sent my Dell Inspiron 1420 into Dell's depo repair four times for the same problem, and it was still not fixed. So I called and they said they would let me talk to their dell escalation service in 48 hours in which they would discuss a replacement due to not fixing my computer. So can someone tell me how this will work? And she said I will be able to get either the same system or a different for the same price. Is that true also?
    - Thanks

Someone from the Resolutions Team will probably contact you tomorrow and they will discuss/advise you what they will be replacing your 1420 with (if not the same). It will probably be treated like a new order..you will be given a order number etc, and it will go thru the build process just the same.

And, you will have to return the 1420 to Dell.
