forgive me if this is in the wrong section.

I searched for a while and couldn't find anything current that kinda resembles this situation.

My girlfriend bought a laptop tote from dell and they sent her the right bag but the wrong size.

the order form as we review it says large but she ordered the small (small accomodates 15.4 while large carries a 17)

my question is, since the order says large are we screwed? dosn't seem right...

anyone have any insite? not really fammiliar to the policy when it comes to accesories.

    thanks in andvanced.

I would double check the original order that you placed to confirm if the mistake was made by you or them. I am not sure that they would trouble you for a swap or not.

    Something similiar happened to me.

    1) Make sure her name is on the invoice. For me, I was sent someone else's order!
    2) Check the original invoice. If you ordered the wrong one (and thus they didn't sent the "wrong" bag) then they may hassle you for restocking fees or shipping.

So I gave Dell a call and eplained what had happened. It was actualy pretty easy and painless to get this exchange and not the nightmare I was anticipating.

Considering the terrible customer service I have experienced with my M1530 order, this was a pleasant surprise. thanks for the responses.
