If the DVD burner came with the system, there should be DVD burning software already loaded on your machine. The Latitude d610 I just ordered comes with Record Now software, but they may have a different one that they use for home customers. If you have the parts list from your order, I may be able to spot it and tell you.

like lgandg said, if you have a dvd burner, the inspiron systems also come with Sonic MyRecord Now. You could also buy some other software and use it. Personally, I bought Nero and use it all the time.

i think nero is the best also.

the program anydvd is excellent for any type of copyprotection and it is constantly updated. it runs in the background. nero and anydvd can copy everything.

i also like how on nero you can pick what you want from the dvd. it just has so many options. try the demo.

ya, we had nero on our old computer, but i was hoping i didn't have to go through the long process of finding it again and transfering.....maybe later i guess.

btw: where did you get anydvd?
