This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Hi all, I have a Dell Studio 1450 laptop. I am planning to buy dell wireless 5600 multi gobi card. From the dell site the dell wireless 5600 is not compatible with the studio versions. I have seen in forums that these wireless devices can be able to work with non-compatible devices, by making suitable changes in software.
    Any one who faced similar problems can suggest.
    Suggestions are welcome.
