dell studio 15 xp display driver for ati radeon hd 3450

can anybody help me to find the latest video drivers for my ati radeon hd 3450 graphic card for windows xp.i am using laptop dell studio 15. as dell does not support windows xp so i am not able to find drivers for my graphic card.plz somebody post the link for the same.

the driver of the link of you posted does not work on the laptop in my opinion as i have downloaded all the ati driver versions from 8.7 to 8.12 and i get the same error like "hardware not found".

Have you browsed through there? Because even from there, it takes you to the same driver page as before!!!

Also, have you tried to get the drivers from microsoft may be??

yes i know it takes to the same driver page from the link you have provided.i have gone through ati sites completely and i didnt found a single on their site which worked on my laptop.

 

Hmmm... I remember seeing somewhere on the web (and may be here on NBR, too) info. regarding ATI drivers for laptop'. I am searching now but haven't come across till now. Let me check more.

thanks for posting the link but the drivers on omega drivers site are very old they r v7.12 and now v8.12 is available.

 

Yeah I saw. Google returns links to some 8.12 or 8.10 drivers, but the sites which are showing them don't look all that trust worthy, so I'm not inclined to link you there. But if you want, google for 'ati radeon laptop driver' or 'ati radeon mobility driver' and you would see what I am seeing too.

Also, you could give a quick try for DriverMax. It should surely get you the drivers. And its fast too.

Mobility Modder and the latest drives from ATI, you should be good!

 

mobility modder definately works....I use my laptop to listen to music through external speakers and the sound quality was so much different in xp that I went back to vista. If anyone has a link for the HD sound driver in xp for the 1535 that would be amazing.

 

i have used modded drivers but when u run gpu-z after installing modded drivers the performance becomes half like memory bandwith,texture as well as vertex fill rate and gpu and memory clock becomes half of their default value.

 

hey ayushbh, i have the same problem as you - dell 1537 with ati radeon 3450. i installed the modden drivers, however i lost a lot of performance (games, that ran on the vista installation, now "lag" in xp with the modded drivers). can u please tell me, which driver from the microsoft update site you use?

YOU GOT TO USE ATI MOBILITY MODDER. Because dell only wants to let you install their drivers off of their website. So just use mobility modder and it should work.
