you can not use win7 64? you could try vista 32 drivers for the 1557.

Mine is legal, too; read the thread to see, even though the title is misleading.

What wireless card do you have?

    Here is the Intel drivers for the following cards: Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300 and Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200 products Intel® PRO/Wireless and WiFi Link Drivers-Only for Windows 7*
    -Intel® Centrino® Ultimate-N 6300: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N 6200: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® Centrino® Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® WiFi Link 5300: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® WiFi Link 5100: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® WiFi Link 1000: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN: 13.0.0.107
    -Intel® PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Connection: 13.0.0.107

If you have the Dell Wireless MiniCard 1520, the drivers on the Dell site come in 32 and 64 bit flavors, all in the same link: Dell - Drivers and Downloads

    Hope this helps...
