This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    dell tech/customer support for those IN india?

    just curious... is it super easy to understand since you speak the same language?

    Individual mother tongues in India number several hundred (SIL Ethnologue lists 415), and 24 languages are spoken by more than a million native speakers, 114 by more than 10,000. And I had some difficulty understanding the English spoken by at least two of the Dell representatives who contacted me (they seem to get training for "American accent" which ruins their way of speaking English forever).

    Yeah I agree with that.... There is so much diversity in the languages spoken in each and every state here in India....

    But usually the sales reps here speak English only and that too the accents vary vastly :D
