i recieved my upgrade today, when i initially registered for it i had no option but to get the german version.so i went ahead and ordered it but i also emailed them at the same stating that i wanted english. Now i havent opened it up yet (incase i could maybe send it back), but do you have an option to chose english language?also is it true that it is best to stick with xp for now until vista is more stable?

    thanks in advance

Option to choose language...I think so. You may have to install it in English, but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a way to switch over to German.

I don't think you can send it back...and why would you want to when it came free with the laptop?

Best to stick with XP? YES!!! At least until Vista SP1 hits the streets. There are problems with WiFi, slow networks, I found issues with USB connectivity, and drivers are still basically in beta status. Hang on to XP for another year, and then things should be a lot better. Vista has a lot to offer, but there are (right now) more problems than it is worth.
