Hi, I have just ordered my Dell Vostro 1400 with Windows Vista Business. I just realised that there is no media centre with this edition and would like to know if its worth it to cancel and change to either Vista Ultimate or Vista Home Premium..is is possible to download just the media centre from somewhere or is that a really stupid question?!

Also does anyone know where I might get a travel remote, the one that fits in the Express card slot?? I am from Ireland and they are not available online???

    thanks

Hey, I'm from the UK and I just ordered my Vostro 1500 today over the phone. If you call them up with your order number and ask to change your OS to Home Premium they *might* change your order if it's not in production already. Depends who you get.

Regarding the travel remote, usually you have to pay a £10 extra to get it. Some reps will throw it in free, some won't. When I ordered my system over the phone today, the rep said he'd put in the 9-cell battery and travel remote for just £10 which wasnt too bad considering I was toying with the idea of getting the 9-cell anyways. But again, it all depends on who you get.
