    dell vostro 1700 XP USB Drivers not found

    I just Switch Vista with XP and The Pc run's Awesome Except.... none of my USB work. any idea?

    Did you install the chipset drivers?

    yeah i did. the one off the dell website Driver page, "R153997". Does it really Matter which Order u install everything? driver wise.

    im Gonna try to reinstall XP and then install the Drivers in the right order : (

    It doesn't really matter. Try installing them again.

    Ok so i Reinstalled Window's XP and install The Drivers in the order i had to beat outts Dell to tell me. and The USB port's are working right now! :) Ty guy's for the help

    Can you please post the driver install order? Im having the same problem ! Installed all the drivers including Intel Chipset and the USB doesn't work.

    Wierd thing was.. BEFORE i installed all the drivers the USB worked fine .. (Im sure because i used my flash drive to get the drivers onto the newly reformatted laptop). But after i installed everything the USB stopped working.

    Appreciate it !

    And, how did you integrate the SATA driver to the XP installation?
