    Hello everybody

It's me again and I have yet another question for you I have to get my wife a new laptop(Desktop replacement). My choices are as follows:
    Toshoba P30-JC1
    HP ZD7310CA
    OR DELL INSPIRON XPS
It has to have P4 above 3.0GZ and a very good DVD burner. The quality of the product and Tech support is also very important. Of course if you know of any other model from these manufacturers(or Compaq) I'll be happy to hear it. I also need to know how these companies stack up against each other quality -wise. Please help this sea dog make the right choice.
    Thanks in adavnce

hmm...whats your budjet? i'm assuming its high if you want 1 of these. Actually, i would not go for any of these. Try out preordering (should ship in dec.) the Alienware Area-51m 7700, that is practically better than all 3 of your chioces combined. This thing isnt a desktop replacement, it is, as alienware says, "a Mobile Desktop", with features desktop replacements dont have. in otherwords, it is a desktop fit into a notebook case. its a new product (obviously it hasnt come out yet bcuz its preorder, but its as if its out because you can customize 1 and get info), so i dont know anything about quality, tech support, but i'm sure its good considering its quality. This notebook is actually cheaper than say the xps, and it comes with so much more that dell cant even have in their notebooks: Gefore Go6800, 2 harddrives and 2 optical drives built in, if you want, a camera built on the screen, p4, pci-express, 17 inch screen, all these except p4 dell cant have at all, becuase they dont have a 17 inch xps. Also, you can go to www.sagernotebooks.com or www.falcon-nw.com, they have a similar looking model as the alienware notebook except looks, because all these special pci-express notebooks i think have to have the same case because there is only 1 out there, they just customize it to look like their model, but the features are 95 percent same.
