    dell warranty within europe?

    hi guys,

    I am looking at getting a new gaming (ish) laptop. My parents live in italy, and my dad is in the milutary so gets a discount with Dell. he can also claim the tax back by bringing it into the UK to use - all perfectly above board!!

    Now, from the warranty T&Cs it does sound like the warranty is transferable within the EU....

    ...is this correct? So if the laptop was bought in Italy and brought over for me I could use the warranty no problems?


    Secondly, from Dell's website it looks like the Inspirion 17" has a better graphics card 7 process then the XPS 17?

To answer the query you can go ahead and use the same warranty in UK as you have in Italy once you purchase the laptop however once you move to UK you have to contact the customer care and have the warranty transfer done to UK. And secondly the graphics on both the systems are the best in the market, since you are purchasing the laptop for gaming we request you to check the specifications required for the games you want to use your laptop for and then you can purchase the laptop which suits your requirement
