    Anyone know if the width that Dell.com shows is with the lid open or closed?

    I believe the measures shown are with the lid closed, as in the actual length, width and height measurements they post on their site.

    width doesn't matter if the lid is open or closed. height would, but width is the same regardless.

    sorry meant height. but I am gonna guess that its with it closed, i found some specs on the 9100 and they seem to be consistent with that
