    Sigh...if only ultraportables were cheaper. I can't wait for a review of the HP L2000.

    Did that read right? An 8mm driver, not 9mm?

    The biggest problem is the USB 2.0 is not fully bus-powered, making it essentially useless outside of a desk with lots of AC Adapters (if you want to connect an external HD).

    Have to take a pass on that one.

    Yes, I would like to see a full L2000 review as well; they have started arriving, so I'm sure someone will post.

    I held tight, and then let go once I saw the review for the L2000.

    I think that laptop is a steal for the price/performance.

    Plus, fully powered USB 2.0 ports!
