I'm looking at buying an xps 1210. I currently use two 19 lcd monitors with my laptop by disabling my laptop monitor when I use my docking station. I would like to do the same with the 1210 so im not looking at a 12 inch screen. Are there any docking stations or other options that allow me to do this with the 1210? If so how is the quality.

If not, what other laptops allow my to do this and have 4 gb maximum memory and do not come at a big cost. I like the xps 1710 because it has two monitor outputs, but it is too much money and is too big then what i would prefer.

    thanks

There's no need to use dock station to connect your LCD to M1210. ALl you need to do is to look for a Conversion of VGA male to DVI female port which you can connect your LCD to your laptop(if your laptop use DVI connection).

But, he wants to connect TWO LCD monitors. Does a notebooks DVI output (or even a Latitude docking station) output to two monitors with some sort of adapter cable?

Yes i use two external 19 inch lcds and disable my laptop monitor. I can do this because the docking station for my hp nc6000 has a dvi and ananlog output on it. Is this possible with the xps 1210?

Matrox Dualhead to go does this, apparently with the 1210. Haven't got one yet, so can't report on quality.
