    someone is offering me on ebay brandnew xps 2 2.0 ghz. 533 mhz 512mb ram 60gb hdd for 1500$ is it good???

    can you post a link to the item you're looking at, that would be really helpful, don't buy from anyone that doesn't have a good seller rating and positive feedback.

    actually bought several 700m and 6000 from him last week sir he's from ebay i met and he's offering me xps right now is it cheap?

    yes, for the XPS Gen 2 that is cheap...if that is an XPS only, then I would pass the deal. The XPS has been replaced with the Gen 2 and with the coupons out there right now, you could a new system for maybe a couple of hundred more.

    Like, you met him on ebay and are buying all this stuff outside ebay's system? Just curious because scammers are rampant, and the phrase "too good to be true" comes to mind. But if you've already received the 700m's and 6000 from him, then nevermind :) That XPS2 sounds like a good deal otherwise.

    yeah u can get it at that price easily if you shop outlet + coupon... sometimes outlet items are new, some are refurb... so the seller probably got it at a lower price point than that then...

    for me i dont really want a second hand laptop or from ebay. i dont feel as secure as if i bought it from a big company like dell. just a couple bucks more get a brand new one. thats what i would do. :rolleyes:

    I'd recommend waiting for something that will last you a bit longer. Personally, I think this is a bad time to buy, though I know there are many who would disagree.
