Im thinking about buying one. how reliable are they? one more very important question.... if you have one, does it come with the OEM disk the ones that say re-install os, and drivers? i have a dell xps 400 and i want to know if the m1210 will come with those cds as well?
-
Yes, it does come with the OEM OS disk
-
They're a bit bulky in my opinion, and the user reviews haven't been THAT great. What will you be using it for anyways?
-
I have used the M1210, and was going to buy one, but now I am waiting for the newer model hopefully coming out soon, other than that, I would have order one by now.
-
I have one and I love it. I travel alot so the size is perfect and you can also do gamming on it -
The size is small, but if you want to get a good battery performance from a 9 cell battery, it literally sticks out an inch from the back of the laptop at the base past the monitor, which is not really attractive. : /
-
really? ill mostly be using it for very basic stuff like videos, music and internet browsing. i wont be using it for gaming though. but is it very portable? and as for the battery around how much time does it really handle? i checked the dell site and it says "9 hours" with a battery they sell *ill be willing to buy the battery* but does it really last 9 hours?
-
you mean the battery looks like this?
if so... gosh its horrible
-
Small price to pay for 5 hrs of battery life or more! -
hey
I'm thinking about purchasing this Dell XPS m1210 as well but my biggest concern with buying a laptop is that it has to be portable (bc i'm a student and take my computer to every class) and it has to be able to play even the most recent games but especially 1701 a.d. and Civiliation IV. Is this a good computer that can fit both of my needs? I've been reading into it and right now this is the computer of my choice but I want to make sure that people use it for gaming
thanks,
candace
