    which one is better xps 140 or inspiron 6000 and why

    This probably belongs in the Dell section. But I'll respond anyways.

    Depends on what your looking for in your notebook. The XPS 140 (14.1" screen) is smaller and lighter than the 6000(15.4" screen) making it more portable and I can vouch for that. It also offers a glossy screen while the 6000 is matte But you can probably get a little more power out of the 6000 and for cheaper.

    An additional consideration is that... suposedly...<<; The XPS line offers better support than the Inpiron line do to its own tech support group. I've yet to here from anyone who has experience with this though.

    A side note: The XPS 140 is also offered at the 630m on Dell's buisness webby. You can probably get the XPS's buisness cousin a little cheaper.
