I suppose the one I got is the "DEll express vista upgrade"
I order the express vista upgrade in early Feb. However my laptop's battery was not tight so I sent it back and exchanged it for a new unit which was "vista preloaded" and came along with the "Windows ANytime Upgrade" DVD and the dell oem vista home premium dvd.

Still waiting for mine. But from what I'm hearing about Vista, it might just go straight into the trash when it arrives.

****, I bought mine in July. No fair, I could've kept Vista on hand rather than going to go get it later on for $300.

I ordered my upgrade in Dec and haven't seen it yet.

You can go back to the upgrade site and do a check..
It will just say Pending or something like that.

This is straight from the Dell vista uprade FAQ

"When will I receive my Express Upgrade to Windows Vista™ DVD and upgrade package and will I have an option for a CD-format?
Dell’s goal is to make the upgrade package available four to eight weeks after the Windows Vista general availability launch date. It is a requirement that participating Dell systems must be configured with a DVD-ROM to participate in this program."

    https://www.dellvistaupgrade.com/faqs.aspx

Some outlet purchases qualify, if the COA was issued AFTER oct 26'th 06 it is eligible for the upgrade, if the COA was issued before it does not. With outlet systems it doesnt matter when YOU ordered, what matters is when the ORIGINAL order was placed.

I have had my "Express upgrade package" from Dell but it's useless for me now since Dell has installed Vista on my exchanged laptop and the shipping and handling fee (25 CDN) is not refundable
