    AFAIK only XPS series come with DDR3 8600M GT, Inspirons and Vostros are shipped with DDR2. At least it used to be like that few months ago.

    If you are asking if they offer the 512 mb version then the answer is no.

    The XPS m1530 comes with GDDR3, the Inspiron with DDR2. I believe GPU-Z can confirm that.

    What about checking the memory clock speed ? wouldn't that give an idea ?
