the new inspirons do not appeal to me, so im hoping dell will make a 14.1' or 15.4' xps system thats just as sexy and feature-filled as the xps m1330

For business, it may be a somewhat iffy move. Dell tends to have one or two models(usually one) max for each size, and because of it's configurability, they can leave it as it is, so users can customize if they want a 15.4" machine with tons of battery life(with the x3100), or a pure gaming machine with the 8600GT. Having them open a market for an 14" or 15" XPS will kill sales for their Inspiron and Vostro lines.

If anything, a 12" and 17" XPS would be more likely, a 12" because they don't have a 12" notebook, and a 17" cause they can pump out a high end notebook(like the older 17" XPS with 7950GTX).

    Plus, they have Alienware.

There really isn't anything they could put in an XPS 1440 or 1550 or whatever they call it that isn't in the Inspirons.

Dell has a 12" notebook right now, the M1210, but it's "last series" and could use a refresh.
