when we return laptop ??.. and i mean returning it within 21 days and getting a new one
-
No.. you do not have to pay for shipping (or restocking).
-
no, that should be covered by dell.
At least the 2 I sent back to them were covered. -
so they credit us back the shipping fee or do they send fedex or dhl or wtever to pickup the laptop from our place
-
They usually send DHL or UPS to come and pick up the package. By the way, the return shipping and restock fee is usually waived only if there was a mistake while ordering or if there was something defective with the unit. Of course your luck with your CS rep will vary.
-
Right, You only get it free if there was a problem with the order. If you just don't want it anymore wont cut it and you will have to pay.
-
Actually, even if you don't want it, they still pay for shipping. I've received about 10 dells so far and they paid for shipping for all of them, HP will also pay for shipping. I've never been told that I have to pay.
-
Yeah, Dell takes back any computer within the "satisfaction" period. Of course, you have to use their shipping label. If you decide not to call them and get the label, that's your business and you can hardly blame Dell for that. The shipping label charges the cost directly to their account. I returned a number of laptops and all I did was walk in to the UPS center, drop off the laptop, and leave. UPS never took any information from me or any money and I was never charged by Dell.
-
Sorry, but that's not true.
I've sent back a laptop simply because I didn't want it and Dell sent me a prepaid label to return it.
do we hv to pay for shipping
