    does 9 cell stick out of e1505?

    ive heard things about it not sticking out, and things about it sticking out....so which is it?

    No it doesn't. Usually on the larger notebooks like the E1505 or E1705, the battery doesn't stick out.

    On the smaller notebooks like the XPS 1210, it would stick out.

    No, it goes right in the front of the notebook and is the same size as the six cell. It is just more denser. It does add a little more weight to the notebook but it's a worthy trade off, atleast in my opinion.

    The 6-cell is feels super light, and the 9-cell actually feels like a battery. When they're in the notebook however, I can't tell. Oh, and yeah, there's no size difference.

    Yes, the 9-cell sticks out of the 1405 unfortunately. However, it's like less than an inch.
