    Hi,

Do any of you dell experts have a link to spare parts sales for the wireless N cards that are for sale in inspirons?

I don't think they sell it separately yet. There is a thread I started a while ago where someone posted the contact information from someone at dell who can get it for you. I was able to pick it up for 49 dollars.

They should sell it, but I am not sure if it is available online. The phone number I gave is the number for Dell Spare Parts which has everything to replace/upgrade parts on your laptop.

Did you know that the Dell.com website has a search function in it?

Navigating to Dell.com laptop section/home and home office brings you to the laptop page.

From there scroll to the bottom of the page and you will see a banner "Notebook Extras & Offers" and right under there you will see an icon that says "Notebook Accesories". Click on the "Notebook Accessories" icon.

When the page opens you will see that you are at the Notebook Accessories page. Once you are there look barely a quarter way down on the left side of the page and you will see a little white box. That white box is the search box...note the "Search Within Notebook Accessories" written above it.

Type the following in the search box...."Draft N".

When the window opens up scroll down a bit and you will find the following products:

    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0418151

    and

    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0707057

    and

    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=A0642955

The search function is your friend!!!!!!

    hey rocket scientist

I dont own a dell computer so im not regularly searching through dell.com

I need the mini pci e card like would go in a dell inspiron

so thats a pcmia card. nothing I can do with it, nothing you can do with it either for that matter.
Im practically certain that howard knows what Im talking about.

it turns out he posted this same question a while ago, sort of like i figured a lot of inspiron owners want to get rid of the intel 3945 and get anything else.

Anyhow I had thought about the atheros card but in theory if the g range on this thing is decent its actually the best thing to get because of N

thank you all for your time.

aparently they are in apples and lennovos as well, but not in asus
