    does dell's warranty cover if the lcd is damaged/broken?

    Do any of dell's warranty cover a damaged/broken lcd? if so which one?

    what about the regular one that comes default with it if you dont upgrade any warranty?

    They will cover it if it is poor workmanship or a broken part. They are not going to cover it for misuse or abuse. Or if you broke unless of course you got the accidental coverage.

    If it borke because just of use or something that can justify it was some defect it will, but if it broke because of droping or something hitting it only if you ahve complete care will cover it.

    Limited warranty will cover it if it simply isn't working but it is intact. If it's cracked or the laptop shows signs of physical damage then this will be covered only by CompleteCare warranty.

    Iv'e had the m1210 now for about 6 weeks and yesterday noticed a small piece of hair or fiber about an 1/8 " inside my lcd down by the left side bottom corner,called support and they ran some diagnostics and ordered a new lcd for it,overnighted last night for an install today just waiting for a phone call from the company that is installing it.
