    no, not the ones on a girl, you pervs... the trackstick, eraserhead thing.

    I know IBM has them, and I know that the 8600 had one when it came out.. but does one exist now?

    I'm just asking because I saw a post in the hardware forum, a guy stated that the 8600 doesn't come with a nipple anymore, so I wanted to verify this.

    I believe the latest 8600 (as of the last couple of months) no longer has the eraser head. I believe they got rid of them when they removed the legacy ports.

    why have they downgraded the next version of the i8600?

    i just dont understand?

    Dell always looks for ways to bring down production costs...my only problem with all the downgrades is why they don't add more USB ports???

    I don't see much harm in the omittion of the legacy ports and nipple (teehee sorry, I'm a teenager). I would never use those things, and it is possible that their removal increases battery life slightly. Does anyone find it interesting that this occurred very near to the release of the 700 series of pentium M's?
