    Heh heh heh... miscellaneous service and support...

    What do you want the notebook for? If you're going to game, the x300 isn't too hot. If you're not going to game, that's a nice set-up. The i6000 isn't known for great build quality, though.

    no, not into gaming ..

    just need office productivity stuff .. word .. firefox .. email .. sometimes, a bit of web page and image editing ..

    the x300 is by who? ..

    I sort of like the look of the silver dell ..

    are there any other suggestions, with a similar price range/configuration? ..

    oh yeah .. and for an extra hundred dollars I can upgrade to a 2.0 Pentium M process .. but, thinking .. probably don't need that, right?
