I ordered my E1705 last night with the $650 coupon and thought I had a great deal... Then today there is a $750 coupon! I almost had a heart attack. Then I start configuring it and came out to even more than what I paid yesterday although now there is default 2 year service. Is Dell fiddling with the prices?

Yeah - Dell likes to play around with their coupons a lot, even though I keep hearing they're supposed to cut back the amount offered. I say once you buy using a coupon, don't look back, or you'll feel bad! You could cancel your current order and re-order if you feel like you're getting ripped off though.

Orderd mine on Wed night. final price was 2,055 with the coupon. Configured it the same way today out of curiousity and I saved around 550 bucks. Got Core Duo 2.0Ghtz with 2 Gigs of 677mhtz RAM. 60 Gig 7200 rpm hard drive. Small H/D i know but I'll use the 250 gig on my network.

Aw, you could have got minimal ram and had a T2600 for the price. Dell is overkill in there RAM prices. You can simply get ram off of newegg for a better deal. That of course if you want to upgrade the RAM yourself, which takes under 2 minutes ;)
