The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    i am interested in this hard drive http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822149030 and i was just double checking before i bought it that when i receive this hard drive i can plug it in and use my win xp recovery cd to format it and install windows. I just want to double check because last hard drive i bought wasn't recognized by anything even in a different computer .
