I just ordered a e1505. Hasn't arrived yet. When it does, does the OS have to be installed and partitioned etc? Or is it plug and play out of the box?

Its plug and play, although many suggest to reformat and reinstall Windows XP to get rid of all the bloatware and set everything up how you like.

Definitely reformat because having a clean and self customized reformat is much better then bloatware city. Have fun with it because I sure love mine.
