    Hi,

A couple of quick questions about this before I swap my huge and heavy 1705 for a fully loaded but smaller and lighter e1405 with Core 2 Duo T7200 and 2GB RAM.

    • I'm not too bothered about games, but I watch a lot of video files stored on my hard-drives on my TV using Windows Media Center. I connect using S-Video to SCART cables.
This works great with the e1705 / NVidea 7800 Go, but will it work so well with Intel Integrated Graphics?
    • Will the Intel Integrated Graphics on e1405 run Windows Vista Aero Glass interface properly?

    thanks

    Philip

If you want to run Aero you should probably look at a dedicated graphics card.

The GMA950 does match Aero requirements.

the 950GMA coupled with 1GB of RAM meets Aero requirements. And DVD's and stuff play fine. Do you think your home DVD player has a "super dooper" graphics card built in? :p
