I sent my e1405 for repair under complete care warranty 2 weeks ago because I accidently dropped it. I called dell a few days ago for the status of the repair and they told me that my laptop is unrepairable and they would be sending me a replacement laptop that is the same model or better.
Does any one have any experience with how long this usually takes? It has been 2 weeks and I still have not received anything back from dell. Sent out the system on the 9th, they received it on the 12th of this month.
Also does anyone have any first hand experiences on if they received an upgrade, same model, etc?
Thanks Guys

When did they tell you it was not repairable? It really depends on what they have in stock in the Outlet or what they can produce for you. I'd call them and ask, but you aren't likely to see much action with the holidays coming up quickly.

The whole process took 1 month for me. That's after many calls and emails. My sig has the details of my old system and the new replacement system I got. I just received the replacement system today so i haven't even cracked open the box to look at it yet.

You will likely get a 1420.
