So, I'm not sure which problem started first, but within the past week, my Hardrive has started going a bit slower than usual, and when I ran the Dell diagnostics I got an error code 1000-1046 for failing DST short test.

When I googled around about this error, almost everyone said it meant the Hard Drive has failed, and you need to buy a new one. I'm not too sure if this is correct though, as I can still boot into Windows, plus when I ran fujitsu diagnostics on the HD it came up with no error...

Next problem.... On the far right side of the screen there is a single column of blue pixels, when I move the screen a certain way (and hold it) they go away. I'm guessing/hoping this may be a problem with the LCD cable and not the LCD itself?

Last issue, the laptop as of late has been burning hot on the right side, near HD/cpu etc. When I checked Notebook Hardware control it reports a HD temp of 53c and cpu temp of 34c. Seems like maybe the HD really is the issue? :(

Anyhow, any advice/help would be appreciated. BTW, the notebook is not under warranty anymore.
