    All,

Ive had my e1505 for a few months... and I get intermittent blue screens with an nmi pariry memory error.

I reboot and everything works fine for a while... then it will start doing it again. Dell sent me a disk to update my OS a while back which I did... but I still get the intermittent errors.

It doesnt seem to be tied to any specific thing... it might crash when I have 10+ programs running and am pushing the system... or it might happen when I have a single firefox session up.

To me... memory parity errors = hardware problem.. but dell insists its software so not sure what to do about it.

    Anyone else have similar problems?

Do you have any video card tweaking programs installed, such as Powerstrip? 3rd party programs like that can sometimes mess with your video card clock speeds, which can sometimes cause memory parity errors.

Nope... The problem happened right out of the box.... went away... I stripped out all the dell bloatware... worked fine for a while then came back again... went away... I switched to the other (not catalyst) graphics drivers (cant remember name off top of my head)... worked fine... then came back.

Called dell... they sent me a disk to do an OS reinstall... nothing happened for a while... thought it was fixed... then happened 3 times in the past 24hrs.

So... it doesnt seem to be tied to when new software was installed... it doesnt seem to be tied to a specific graphics driver... oh, I also went into dell diagnostics and did all the memory tests... passed everything.
