I was wondering if Dell ships the e1505 with the Hitachi Travelstar 7K100? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Dell has 7200RPM drives in their notebooks - but they are usually optional - and the chance that it is a Hitachi and not some other brand is very slim.

when it comes to 7200 rpm hds in laptops there are only 2 choices: hitachi and seagate. So you basically got a 50/50 chance, but both hds are pretty much equal in terms of quality so i don't think it would matter which one u got.
